Aggie Angels organization supports the Aggie Men's Basketball Team. They help to support and
promote Men's Basketball and to spread the awareness througout campus and throughout the community to increase the attendance
at the games and tailgates.
Some Things Angels Do:
Attend All Basketball Games:
Have reserved seating at all
Pass Out Flyers:
3 Weeks leading up to Basketball Seasons tip-off Angels pass out flyers around campus
and in the MSC Breezeway.
T-Shirts:
As a fundraiser for Angels, we design and sell our own T-shirts to help out with
socials and other events throughout the season.
Socials:
Angels have 3-5 socials a year, 2 with the team, depending
on the funding and the decisions made by the officers in charge.
Buddy Bags:
For 4 games, 2 per semester, Angels create goody bags with treats for their designated
buddy which is assigned at the beginning of each semester.
Importance:
The support of Aggie Men's Basketball is VERY important. It's easy to get people to attend
Aggie Football games, win or lose. However, when the basketball team loses, we have fair weather fans, which leaves the stands
empty. Overall, we need fans win or lose for basketball and we need lines out the doors and campers outside the arena weeks
before to keep up with ALL other schools and to show the support our school has for the Men's Basketball Team.
